Our goal through this program is to get all healthy and treatable dogs a forever home in our pet loving neighborhoods
with the help of people living in our communities.
We believe that by bringing homeless dogs into the neighborhoods where potential adopters live and work we can create the exposure needed to achieve foster to adoption faster which means less time in the shelter or rescue for the dog. Yay! We believe people in many Chicago neighborhoods want to help but volunteering is too much of a time commitment that people and families just don’t have. We believe by making it easy and convenient for people to help by checking out a dog for a walk in their own communities we will be creating a win/win/win both for the person, dog and rescue and/or shelter. This program has been implemented across the nation in different communities and has reaped positive results. We are excited to bring this program to
the Chicago-land area and save more lives, one walk at a time!
